Private Schools on the Board

Why private schools get a separate board — and no merit ratio. The rest of this site measures UC offers against SBAC, California's statewide achievement test. Private schools do not take SBAC, so there is no common yardstick to hold their offers against and no Admitted California Ratio can be computed for them. What we can show is the raw UC-admissions picture, straight from UC's own source-school data: who applied, who got in, and how many offers came from the selective campuses.

Read it as a directory, not a verdict. A high "selective offers per applicant" reflects a strong, self-selected applicant pool as much as anything UC does — without a test baseline, we make no claim that any private school is over- or under-admitted.
